Courtney Friend, BA

Courtney Friend, BA, received her B.A. in Psychology from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During her time at UCLA she studied numerous topics in psychology, including behavioral neuroscience, cognitive development, counseling & therapy, statistics, and many branches of psychology (developmental, health, social, abnormal, adolescent, and more). She also worked extensively in the Neurobiology Lab, assisting doctoral students with subject testing and documentation.

After graduating, Courtney worked as a Behavior Therapist at Autism Spectrum Consultants, providing one-on-one therapy to children in their homes, schools, and in the community. She implemented behavior intervention programs based on Applied Behavior Analysis, a research-based methodology used to maximize learning for children within the Autism spectrum.

Thereafter, Courtney expanded her psychological interests into neuropsychology. Under the training and supervision of Dr. Terzyan, Courtney has been developing expertise conducting neuropsychological examinations by assisting Dr. Terzyan in the administration of an increasing catalogue of exams.
